Platypus case files

I went through the entire season 1 of the the office ( UK ) version over the weekend and to top it off I downed Office Space the movie 15 minutes ago. This series and movie really go well together.

For those that have not seen either one of these gems, a bit of introduction is order. It tracks the life of a bunch of employees of a paper company and the going ons within the company. You have your typical bad boss, pretty receptionist and smart but really bored guy. It's a series that celebrates the stereotype and plays it to the hilt. It's done in a mockumentary style and is done really well. The actors / actress are acting and are not acting at the same time. See it you will know what I mean. Why is this series so popular to garner numerous awards ? Well I guess because deep down anyone of us who are wage erners can relate to the series. I mean who are we kidding ? We have all been in that kind of situation potrayed before.

So I guess that's why I really like and can relate to this series really well. Ricky Gervais character in the office is really the archetypical bad bad boss anyone can get and is really a collected motage of bad boss traits all in one person. He is really someone you would love to hate.

What did I do today ? Morning starting fooling around with postfix with sasl. Afternoon still tangoing around with it. End of the day what did i get ? A fucked up postfix that doesn't send mail and linked against all the wrong libraries. Sigh !

 I can remember long long time ago when I was much younger I had bought hosting and I chose a s9y blog. Then time went by and real life prevailed and unfortunately the blog died. Today I am still running my own blog, and after searching on the net a bit I found this nice site hosting free s9y blogs ! I am going to try this engine out to see how it prevails over coreblog's trackback spam. If it's it better probably it's time to move house again ! :)

Grr ! thought of sleeping early tonight. Just another promise I can't keep I guess ! This is all your fault s9y ! After leaving s9y for so long I must say I am really really impressed with the amount of improvements made to it's blog engine. I really like it.

• A lot of plugins to play with
• Media management. Have yet to play with this will report on this tomorrow when i have the time.
